Clinical courses offered to MSIS students are the most important and meaningful activities in which the students are engaged. During this time, the students will be rotated through different diagnostic areas to transfer knowledge from theory to application of skills in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, computed tomography procedures and magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
The student’s clinical experience will be different from the academic environment in which he/she is accustomed. The success of the student in functioning and learning in the clinical setting depends, in part, on how he/she approaches and deals with the differences.
While most of the clinical assignments are within San Antonio students will be assigned to clinical areas within a 90 mile radius of the San Antonio service area.
Clinical assignments run Monday through Sunday and involve both daytime and evening hours.
